All Mold Specialist technicians are certified Mold Inspectors through the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC).
We follow all industry standards & sample analysis methods recommended by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), or other professional organizations inspections & clearance testing standard. Our technicians specialize in finding hidden toxic mold/ black mold & are in constant training to maintain the most advanced inspection procedures in the industry.

Jed Myers
Jed Myers started A Mold Specialist, Inc. with the client in mind. We offer direct one-on-one service from the beginning to end. Starting with a free consultation, Jed Myers will walk you through the process, step-by-step, and answer any and all questions. If you choose to use A Mold Specialist for a mold inspection/testing you will receive the most thorough and comprehensive state of the art inspection in the industry.
Once tests are received, we walk you through understanding the test results and if necessary what is recommended to remove any mold issue. And once remediation is complete, we offer clearance testing to ensure the job has been done properly and up to industry standards. Unlike many other companies, we only do testing , so therefore you can trust our results. Many companies just want to do expensive and sometimes unnecessary remediation work.
Jed Myers has been in the water damage industry going on 30 years. During that time period he has obtained numerous certifications and is board certified mold consultant. A Mold Specialist services, all of Los Angeles and most of Ventura county, and we have proudly called Santa Clarita home for the last 25 years.
